The Three Horseshoes, Benson

The playground here is getting a refit, so the pictures below are not representative of what the garden will ultimately look like.

You can find this pub on this map, here

The Red Lion, Rotherfield Peppard

The Red Lion is practically opposite Daisy's and you can find it on the map here

The playground has just been redone. It is very tidy and an obvious pride is taken in presentation.

Unlike many pubs The Red Lion has a huge car park.

Daisy's Coffee Shop, Peppard Common

Why am I including a coffee shop without a playground in a blog about pubs with playgrounds? Well, Daisy's does sell alcohol, it is very family friendly and there is an indoor soft play area planned for the barn attaching the shop. The building also used to be a pub - The Dog.

The service here is excellent, as is the food.

Daisy's does a carvery, so a great place to go for a Sunday dinner.

You can find out more about Daisy's on their website, here, where you can see their menu.

The Plough Inn, Appleton

A lovely village pub! With rabbits! And lots and lots of equipment. It also has a pretty garden.

Appleton is off the A420. Continue north along the A338 Oxford Road, driving by Millets Farm. Continue until you get to the junction of the A420, at the end of the road, and then turn left. Take the first right onto Oakmere and you will be driving NW into Appleton.
You can find the pub on this map.

Their website can be found here.

The Black Horse, Gozzards Ford

The Black Horse can be found on the Farringdon Road. to get there, take the first exit of the A34 from Didcot coming off the Abingdon Rd then take the first right. It is along the same road as the Dog House but is in Gozzards Ford, not Frilford Heath.

Dog House

The Dog House is in Frilford Heath, you can find it on this map. It is really easy to get to from the A34; take the first exit at the Abindgon roundabout, take the first right onto Farringdon Road.
